I hate computers, after 42 years of using them, i hate them

OK that may be a bit of an overstatement, but today I ran four different linux distro’s and had issues with all but one, that one being Bazzite. Honestly the point of this is just to try something that isn’t Mint, isn’t SUSE, well Issue Slackware or SunOS either. At some point I’m ditching Windows, but when I do, i need to have an OS that will do what I need it to do. This experiment is to see how those OS’s ran games (well just ran, ease of use, etc) on a I7 Laptop and well not fantastic even with Bazzite though Bazzite got Baldur’s Gate 3 to work… Ish… So it is the winner at this moment.

Oddly enough I haven’t actually tried Steam and proton with Mint, just heard enough people say it wasn’t great. I like Mint, just works but I haven’t really done any gaming on it, just network and Office stuff. Oh and at one point a virtual XP machine. (Don’t ask.)

Anyway that’s how I’ve been avoiding going insane trying to find work. I look for jobs then I go back to my nerd roots, then write some, play hytale for an hour and then cry myself to sleep. Ha! Jokes on you, I haven’t been writing.
