“And here I go again on my own Going down the only road I’ve ever known”

What’s up everyone? I hope you’re all well.

     I’ve been working on a project that is sort of, kind of, cosmic horror. It literally started with a dream I woke up to where a character was making the epic speech which I got most of written down before forgetting it.

     The way I am working this one out is buy breaking it into parts and writing down the frame work of what needs to happen in each part. I’ve also been working on who the characters are, mostly the bad guys because honestly they are kind of interesting in what they can do and what they do, do.

     At least IMHO.

     The process so far has been

1. Outline the part
2. Write the part quickly to get the general idea down
3. Go back and add character details settings, etc
4. Re-read 50000000000000 times and throw it away and go back to step 2. J

     I’ve been slowly editing my book, I’m sorry but having read 95,000 words a dozen times in the past I’m finding this part actually pretty tedious but it needs to be done. The biggest problem is running across the wrong words – MS Word is nice and all, but at least in my store bought copy of 2010 which I will never upgrade, it will autocorrect to a completely wrong word some times. I might start using Libre Office soon. It’s free and maybe a bit more advanced than my 15+ year old copy of office.

     Anyway that’s all for now. The job hunt has put me in a complete funk. You’d think with the amount of experience I have I’d at least get an interview… With 300+ resumes put out just last year you’d think something would pan out. I’m going to need to start selling blood soon if something doesn’t come along.
