Hey what’s up everyone? I hope you are all well and 2026 is looking up for you!
So I thought that I should give an update on how things are going writing wise and I have to say I am excited for the story I am working on. I won’t give away too much but it’s called “The New God” and it’s been an idea I’ve been tossing around for probably two decades but never really got the feel for it beyond the concept and a short story that I won’t share because it would be a huge spoiler.
Beyond that I am going to be working on a story for my friends Indie video game. There’s some things he needs to finalize with the game before I begin but it should be a really fun project and will be published as an E-book or physical book through Amazon etc. I’m trying to get established and hopefully that will be a good way to get the door at least cracked open.
There’s a couple novella length stories I’m still working on for the two books I want to publish this year and honestly believe I can get this done in the not so distant future. There’s a lot riding on this because it seems I have aged out of working in IT (because you know, who wants someone with 30 years’ experience?) and HEB and Hobby Lobby don’t seem to be hiring. Yeah, desperate times.
Anyway I’m getting back to my writing and trying to keep hopeful that something positive will happen for me in 2026. Take care
